I’m so excited and happy that the quilt top I made for Quilts for Survivors was shipped off to Japan today! Actually, the back I made for it was also turned into a second quilt so I made tops of two of the 30 quilts in this shipment to Patchwork Tsushin, the organization that will distribute the quilts to those in need. I LOVE that!!
Images 23 and 25 are from my quilt tops. I’m so grateful to the Portland women who organized this project, giving us quilters a way to feel we are helping in a tragedy of epic proportions.
It’s not enough, but it’s something. And something is totally better than nothing.
