Well, the mudder is finishing up today (Sunday, July 8), turns out he also is the sander and then he sprays. There’s no way I’m going in there while this is happening to take a photo, so you’ll just have to imagine this step.
And a great mid-day dinner is on the menu as Donna and Ken Gallagher are hosting a family gathering at their lovely home and acreage on the banks of the Lewis River near Woodland to celebrate Joe’s high school graduation (about which you already may have read in a prior post).
It was a great time to get together with Ric’s extended family and give them a chance to honor Joe in person. Donna (Stacey and Amy’s mom) and Stacey prepared wonderful posters with the high school graduation dates for all the younger family members so they can look forward to being like Joe!
I forgot to take very many photos because I was fixated on eating the incredibly delicious pulled pork sandwich piled high with coleslaw. I did manage to get one of Ric and his sisters Elaine and Julie though, so I hope it will suffice.
